We keep over 500 doors in stock ranging from 300 year old elm ledged doors to doors from the 1950s. The most popular are the four panel victorian and the six panel georgian . Sizes vary greatly so please measure the height and width in inches before coming along. |

REPRODUCTION DOORS:
Although we keep a large stock of old doors, if you need a matching set in very good condition and standard sizes, we keep a solid pitch pine range available in most styles. These doors are exact copies of originals with flat panels and authentic molding. In addition we keep a large range of copies of original external doors. |

STRIPPING:
We have been stripping doors and pine furniture at The Stripping Company since 1990. Over these years we have built up an expertise that enables us to accurately predict how well certain pieces will strip and what they will look like afterwards. Most stripping is carried out the day after receipt and takes two or three days to dry.

MADE TO MEASURE
LEDGED DOORS:
If you are looking for traditional ledged doors in standard or unusual sizes, these are for you. We hand make each door using wide boards of selected redwood pine. Each board is tongue and grooved with a but-bead on the edge. The ledges are fixed with traditional cut nails and the doors are dipped in our stripping tank to give them the authentic old stripped pine colour. We also sell the hand forged T hinges and suffolk latches to suit. |
